HOW WE WORK
THE NO SURPRISES GUARANTEE
None of this is remarkable. It's what should happen on every renovation in Melbourne.
Take the list to your other quotes and ask them the same questions. Here's what we'll put our name to.

WHAT WE’LL PUT OUR NAME TO
THE GUARANTEE, IN SEVEN PARTS
01
A START DATE THAT HOLDS. AND THE TRUTH ABOUT THE FINISH.
Waterproofing has to cure. Stone can't be templated until the cabinetry's in. A single finish date before anyone's opened a wall is a guess. We'll give you a start date we can stand behind, and we'll tell you the truth about the finish rather than promising a date we quietly know we can't keep.
02
AN UPDATE EVERY WEEK. GOOD NEWS OR NOT, IN WRITING.
You shouldn't have to ask what's happening in your own home. Once we're on site, you'll receive an update from us every week so you know where the job is up to, what's happening next, and whether there's anything we need from you.
03
A NAME, NOT A SWITCHBOARD.
You'll know who's running your job and how to reach them. More than one of us will work on your home, and you'll never be passed around to find out who's responsible.
04
NO MONEY NEWS ON AN INVOICE.
Old houses hide things. You hear it the day we find it, with your options, before a dollar is spent. If something unexpected turns up, we'll explain what we've found, what it means, and what your options are before any additional money is committed.
05
THE HIDDEN WORK CHECKED BEFORE IT'S HIDDEN.
Before a wall closes. Before waterproofing. Before tiling. You'll never see any of it. That's the point. The work that disappears behind walls, floors and finishes still matters just as much as the parts you can see. We'll check it before it gets covered up.
06
A FINISHED JOB, NOT A LIST TO CHASE.
And a straight answer afterwards, including when it's the house moving rather than the work. We don't want to hand you a list of unfinished items and leave you to chase them down. We'll finish the job properly and give you a straight answer when something needs attention afterwards.
07
YOUR HOME TREATED AS A HOME.
You're choosing everyone who walks through your door for months without meeting them. We do that choosing carefully. The people working in your home should understand that it's still your home while we're there. We choose our trades based on the quality of their work, how they behave, and whether we'd be comfortable having them in our own homes.
AFTER THE HANDOVER
SAVVYCARE
We come back.
Most builders disappear the moment the final invoice clears. If something needs attention after that, it's on you to notice it, track them down, and hope they pick up. That's not how we finish a job.
We book the return visits ourselves: three months, six months, twelve months. About two weeks out from each one you'll hear from us. We'll send you our inspection checklist and ask for yours, then we turn up and go through both.
THE TWELVE-MONTH VISIT
The twelve-month visit is a proper inspection, not a phone call. A full year of seasons is long enough for anything that was going to move, shrink, settle or leak to have done it. That's the right time to check properly, and it's why we come back then instead of waiting for you to ring.
Your first year of SavvyCare is included in the price of your job. At twelve months you can choose to continue it, but you'll have had the whole year first to decide whether it's worth having.

The No Surprises Guarantee.
We're still turning up twelve months after we've been paid.
