MULTI-ROOM RENOVATIONS
WHEN SEVERAL ROOMS NEED TO WORK BETTER TOGETHER.
Sometimes the problem with your home isn't one room.
The kitchen works, but the laundry doesn't. The bathroom needs updating, but the way you move through the house doesn't make sense anymore. Storage is lacking, spaces feel disconnected, and fixing one room on its own won't solve the bigger problem.
That's where a multi-room renovation makes sense.
We look at the spaces together, work out what needs to change, and coordinate the renovation as one project rather than a collection of separate rooms.

01
START WITH HOW YOUR HOME ACTUALLY WORKS
Before we talk about finishes, we want to understand how you use the house.
What's frustrating you now? Where does the house feel cramped? Which rooms work well and which don't? What do you wish you'd done differently when you first moved in?
Then we look at the house itself.
Older Melbourne homes can have their own complications. Existing structures, uneven floors, ageing services and changes made over decades all need to be understood before we start making plans.
The better we understand the house at the beginning, the fewer assumptions we're carrying into the build.
02
ONE RENOVATION. ONE COORDINATED PLAN.
A multi-room renovation has more moving parts than a single-room project.
There are more trades, more materials, more decisions and more opportunities for one decision to affect another.
We coordinate the work as one project, so the kitchen isn't being planned in isolation from the laundry, and the bathroom isn't being treated as an unrelated job happening down the hall.
The aim is to make the whole renovation work together.
Kitchen
Laundry
Bathroom
Living spaces
03
YOU SEE THE SPACE BEFORE WE BUILD IT
Once the brief is resolved into a buildable layout, we provide 3D renders with your quote.
That means you can see the proposed spaces before construction begins.
You can understand how the rooms relate to one another, get a better sense of proportions and finishes, and make decisions while changes are still straightforward.
You're not expected to work everything out from a flat plan.
04
WE PRICE WHAT WE'RE ACTUALLY BUILDING
We don't want to give you a number based on assumptions and then discover halfway through the renovation that the real job is something else.
After the design is resolved, we investigate the existing house properly.
We get under the floor and into the roof where necessary, confirm what's actually there, coordinate the consultants the project needs, and build the price around what we find.
If the scope and budget don't line up, we'll show you the gap.
Then we'll show you what changing the scope actually buys back in dollars.
You decide whether to spend more or do less. Our job is to make sure you have the information to make that decision.
05
THE DECISIONS DON'T ALL LAND ON YOU AT ONCE
A multi-room renovation can involve a lot of selections.
01 Tiles.
02 Tapware.
03 Stone.
04 Cabinetry.
05 Fixtures.
06 Colours.
07 Hardware. Finishes.
You shouldn't have to make all of those decisions at the same time.
We'll guide you through them in the order they need to happen, with recommendations based on your design, budget and programme.
The goal isn't to overwhelm you with choices. It's to help you make the right choices at the right time.
06
WE PREPARE BEFORE THE SITE OPENS
Before anything begins, we confirm permits and insurances, line up the trades, order long-lead items and brief you on what's coming.
We also make sure you know when we'll need decisions from you.
The more that can be resolved before construction starts, the less likely a small decision is to become a site delay.
01 Confirm permits and insurances
02 Line up the trades
03 Order long-lead items
04 Brief you on what's coming
07
YOU KNOW WHAT'S HAPPENING WHILE WE BUILD
Once we're on site, you'll receive an update from us every week, in writing.
Good news or not.
You'll know where the project is up to, what's happening next, and whether there's anything we need from you.
And if something unexpected is uncovered, you won't first hear about it on an invoice.
We'll tell you when we find it, explain your options, and make sure you understand the cost before any additional money is spent.
08
WE CHECK THE WORK YOU WON'T SEE
A lot of the important work in a renovation disappears behind walls, floors and finishes.
That's why we check it before it's hidden.
Before a wall closes.
Before waterproofing.
Before tiling.
You may never see that work once the renovation is finished. That's exactly why it needs to be checked.
09
YOUR HOME IS STILL YOUR HOME
Living through a multi-room renovation takes planning and respect.
We're working around your routines, your belongings and your family.
Our trades are people we've worked with for years. We've seen their finished work and we know how they behave on a difficult day, not just an easy one.
We'd rather wait for the right person than put the available person in your home.
10
AND WE'RE STILL HERE AFTER THE BUILD
Finishing the renovation doesn't mean disappearing.
Your first year of SavvyCare is included in the price of your job.
We book return visits at three, six and twelve months. About two weeks before each visit, we'll contact you, send our inspection checklist and ask for yours.
Then we turn up and go through both.
The twelve-month visit is a proper inspection. A full year of seasons gives the house time to move, shrink, settle or reveal anything that needs attention.
That's the right time to check properly.

12
A BIGGER RENOVATION DOESN'T HAVE TO MEAN A BIGGER HEADACHE
The more rooms involved, the more important preparation becomes.
Our job is to make the moving parts make sense, keep you informed, and give you clear decisions rather than leaving you to figure everything out as we go.
Because a renovation should improve the way you live in your home — not make you wonder what's happening in it every day.
